В общине адвентистов седьмого дня города Конотопа Сумской области 6 октября состоялось водное крещение — к церкви присоединилась Елена Галивец, которая услышала весть Евангелия от своего сына.
Сергей Галивец, принявший крещение в июне этого года благодаря программе «Откровение древних пророчеств для людей XXI века», решил поделиться благой вестью с родными. Самым близким для него человеком была его мама — Елена. Видя изменения в своем сыне, эта женщина через некоторое время также проявила интерес к изучению Священного Писания. На протяжении всего лета мама Сергея старалась посещать богослужения общины. Желая получить ответы на интересовавшие ее вопросы, она обратилась к пастору конотопской церкви Виталию Еремину. Благодаря встречам, посвященным исследованию Библии, для нее многое прояснилось.
Доверяя Господу и посвящая ему время в молитвах, Елена увидела в своей жизни изменения, которые коснулись и окружающих. В семье стало больше гармонии и любви, появилось взаимопонимание.
Настал момент, когда мама Сергея решила последовать примеру сына и заключить завет с Господом через водное крещение. Перед обрядом, который совершил пастор Виталий, женщина засвидетельствовала свое согласие с библейскими пунктами вероучения. Музыкальным поздравлением для нее стало произведение «Душа» в исполнении Александра Сатыра и Татьяны Король.
Новокрещенной вручили свидетельство веры, подарки от общины и цветы, а молодежь исполнила ещё одну музыкальную композицию — «Белее снега».
A baptismal ceremony was held for Elena Galivets on October 6 at the Konotop Seventh-day Adventists church, in the Sumy region. Elena heard the Gospel message from her son.
Sergei Galivets, was baptized in June this year after the program “The revelation of the ancient prophecies to XXI century people”, and decided to share the good news with his family. The closest person to him is his mother Elena. Seeing the change in her son, Elena also expressed an interest to study the Holy Scriptures. Throughout the summer, Elena tried to attend worships at the local church. Wanting to get answers to the questions that interested her, she turned to Vitaly Eremin, a pastor at the Konotop church. During these meetings, designed to investigate the Bible, she began to understand the truth much clearer.
Trusting the Lord and dedicating her time to prayer, Elena saw in her life changes that had an impact on others. Her family became more united in harmony and love, and mutual understanding entered among them.
The moment came when Sergei’s mother decided to follow the example of her son and make a covenant with God through baptism. Before the ceremony, which was conducted by Pastor Vitaly, Elena testified her agreement with biblical doctrines. Alexander Satyra and Tatiana Korol congratulated her by performing a musical composition, “The Soul”. The new believer was presented with certificate of faith, with gifts and flowers from the community, and the youth sang another musical composition, “Whiter than snow.”
