Праздник под названием «Чистота — залог здоровья», приуроченный ко Дню защиты детей, состоялся 2 июня во дворе третьей николаевской общины адвентистов седьмого дня. Гостями стали дети, которые живут неподалеку от церкви, и их родители.
В игровой форме тридцать мальчиков и девочек познакомились с правилами гигиены и узнали, что хранить нужно не только чистоту тела, но и сердца.
Праздник проходил в несколько этапов. Вначале ребята вытягивали карточки разных цветов, которые определили их отношение к своему здоровью (белый — «я веду здоровый образ жизни»; зеленый — «я стараюсь, но не всегда получается»; черный — «я не обращаю внимания на свое здоровье»). Большинство участников вытянули зеленый, и только несколько — белый цвет.
Далее с детками познакомилась ведущая Мария Кириленко, руководитель детского отдела общины, и они начали путешествие по городам.
Жители первого города Грязнульска, в том числе и Яшка — герой детской передачи и журнала «Дружболандия», рассказывали о том, как скучно умываться, расчесываться и чистить зубы. Но дети переубеждали их. Они наглядно демонстрировали принципы наведения чистоты с помощью различных конкурсов: расчесывали и умывали кукол на время; вместе с родителями подметали коврик; приводили в порядок портфель; отгадывали загадки и даже сделали с Яшей зарядку.
В городе Лентяйске маленькие путешественники познакомились с ленивым Емелей, который рассказывал им, как не любит убирать в квартире, складывать портфель и т.д. Дети высказывали свое мнение по этому поводу. Последним ребята посетили город АТОТСИЧ – ГОЛАЗ ЯЬВОРОДЗ. В их задачу входило расшифровать название города, которым оказался лозунг «ЧИСТОТА — ЗАЛОГ ЗДОРОВЬЯ». Затем ведущая объяснила, почему так важно сохранять чистоту сердца. На эту тему дети выучили и спели песни: «Охраняй свои уста, что говорят», «Я возьму с Неба любви чуть-чуть».
На розданных сердечках ребята должны были написать или нарисовать те качества, которые должны быть в чистом сердце. С радостью маленькие гости принялись выполнять задание. А потом все эти сердечки они наклеили на одно большое сердце.
Все гости получили памятные подарки. Довольные дети и их родители выразили искреннюю благодарность за такой позитивный праздник.
Third SDA church in Nikolayev held a special children’s program “Cleanliness is Key to Health.” The church backyard welcomed children and their parents from the local community. The program was dedicated to the International Children’s Day.
The program was set up in a form of a game. Thirty boys and girls learned how to keep their bodies cleaned. They also learned that not only their bodies, but their hearts too needed to be pure. The game consisted of several parts. First, children were offered to draw a card of the color they chose. White meant “I follow the rules for a healthy lifestyle.” The color green meant “I try, but I don’t always do it right.” Black cards said “I do not pay attention to my health.” Most children picked green cards and only few chose the white color.
Then children met Maria Kirilenko, the Children’s Ministries Director. She took them on a journey to Frienshipland. Their first “stop” was in the Grimy City. Its residents, including Yashka, a familiar character of a popular TV show and magazine, told the participants how boring it was to bathe, comb their hair and brush their teeth. The little guests had to convince them otherwise. Different quizzes and funny competitions like bathing dolls, tidying backpacks, sweeping the floor helped the resident of Grimy City to change their minds. There were riddles to guess and even exercises that little church visitors could do together with Yashka.
In Lazytown children met a lazy boy Yemelya. He complained how much he disliked cleaning his room and keeping his things tidy. He again had a chance to learn from the participants of the program.
Finally, the journey brought them to a town called Htlaeh ot Yek Si Ssenilnaelc. Children had to decipher the name of the town, which ended up to be their motto for the day – “Cleanliness is Key to Health.” After that Maria explained why it was important to keep their hearts clean. She taught them two songs related to the topic: “O,be careful little …” and “I want to get some love from Heaven.”
At the end of the program each participant received a piece of paper in the form of a heart. Children had to write or to draw the qualities that a pure heart should possess. Afterwards all small hearts were attached to one big paper heart. All guests received little gifts from the church. Both the children and their parents were really thankful for a wonderful and a very positive program prepared by the Adventist church.
