16 июня 2013 года в г. Омске прошел семейный вечер общения: «Спасибо, что ты есть!». Церковь открыла свои двери 23 семьям, из которых две пришли впервые. Особая радость наполняла тех, у кого супруги впервые переступили порог церкви, и как можно было наблюдать, им было уютно. Вечер был посвящен обновлению обета верности. Супружеские пары имели возможность ощутить атмосферу венчального торжества, особенно те, кто год, кто два, десять, двадцать и пятьдесят семь лет назад соединили свои сердца в браке, но в своей жизни не располагали возможностью предстать перед Богом и получить Его благословение на семейную жизнь.
Общение за чашечкой создавало атмосферу дружеского общения. Каждый мог поделиться своими мыслями о семье и напомнить себе еще раз, что такое семья и как сохранить в ней свежесть отношений. Праздничный вечер общения сопровождался музыкальными композициями, стихотворениями и видеороликами на семейную тематику и завершился особой молитвой посвящения семейных пар друг другу и обновления обета верности. Все из присутствующих могли прикоснуться верой к деснице Бога и просить благословение на дальнейшую жизнь. После праздника всем парам предстояло вернуться к земным заботам и трудам. Может случиться, что суета и трудности сотрут из памяти торжественность таких минут, как эти. Пасторская семья, Новоселовы Алексей и Елена давая наставление супружеским парам, отмечали важность понимания, что Бог – это Творец брака и источник любви. Он всегда готов помочь семьям, в ответ на их совместные молитвы, сделать намного больше того, чем каждый просит или, даже, помышляет.
Семейная программа «Спасибо, что ты есть!» положила основание, а скорее возобновила встречи семейного клуба. Его организаторы надеются, что все те, кто был на этой программе будут с удовольствием посещать его встречи, приведут своих друзей и обретут новых, и самое главное познакомятся со Христом.
A family evening “I’m happy you’re in my life!” was held June 16, 2013 in Omsk. The church opened its doors to 23 families, two of which came first. A special joy filled those whose spouses for the first time crossed the threshold of the church building, and as could be seen, they felt themselves comfortable. The evening was dedicated to the renewal of marriage vows. Married couples had the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of wedding celebrations, especially those who joined their hearts in marriage many years ago, but did not have the opportunity to stand before God and receive His blessings for family life.
Chatting over a cup of tea created an atmosphere of companionship. Everyone could share their thoughts about the family and remind himself again what a family is and how to keep fresh relationship. A festive evening of communication was accompanied by musical compositions, poems and videos on family themes and was ended with special prayer of dedication of spouses to each other and renewal of marriage vows. All of those present could touch by faith the right hand of God and ask Him for a blessing on the future life. After the event, all couples had to go back to their earthly cares and labors. It may happen that the fuss and difficulties erase from memory the solemnity of such moments as these. Pastor family, Alexei and Elena Novoselov, gave instruction to couples and noted the importance of understanding that God is the Creator of marriage and the Source of love. He is always ready to help families in response to their joint prayers, and to do much more than what one asks or even thinks.
Family program “I’m happy you’re in my life!” laid the foundation, and resumed meetings of family club. Its organizers hope that all those who visited this program will be happy to attend its meetings, bringing their friends and gaining new ones. And, most importantly, they will get acquainted with Christ.
