В общине города Корсаков на Сахалине была проведена очередная программа для укрепления в вере общины и привлечения к исследованию Библии наших друзей. Проводил ее пастор церкви города Южно-Сахалинска Медвидь И. В., который очень доходчиво со знанием Слова Божьего доносил истину до сердец слушателей. Хочется отметить, что каждый член церкви постарался пригласить на программу своих друзей и знакомых. Программу украшало пение членов хора из города Южно-Сахалинска и чтение стихов.
И как результат – в небольшой общине города Корсакова три человека из приглашенных были постоянными и активными слушателями. Мы верим, что Дух Святой поддерживает Божьих детей в этой пока небольшой общине и надеемся, что в скором будущем наша вера даст плоды и церковь вырастет духовно и пополнится новыми членами.
In order to strengthen faith of the church members and to motivate our friends to study the Bible the regular program was held in the Korsakov church on Sakhalin. It was conducted by pastor I. Medvid from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, who presented the truth of God’s Word to the hearts of listeners in very persuasive and understandable way. It is worth noting that every member of the church tried to invite to the event his friends and acquaintances. The program was enriched with singing of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk choir and with poetry reading.
As a result, in the small Korsakov church three persons became regular and active listeners. We believe that the Holy Spirit supports the children of God in this small congregation, and we hope that in the immediate future our faith will bear fruits for the glory of God and the church will grow not only spiritually but will be added with new members.
