Встреча в Министерстве Иностранных Дел Российской Федерации[:en]Meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation
Участники встречиВ МИД России состоялась встреча лидеров евангельских церквей России с Директором департамента по связям с субъектами Федерации, парламентом и общественными объединениями МИД России Олегом Васнецовым. Со стороны МИДа России также присутствовали руководитель отдела по связям с религиозными объединениями Роман Романов и второй секретарь МИД РФ Юлия Галимова. От протестантов во встрече приняли участие члены Совета по взаимодействию с религиозными объединениями при Президенте РФ Александр Семченко и Олег Гончаров, пасторы и лидеры евангельских церквей России Иван Боричевский, Дмитрий Благоев, Владимир Самойлов, Валерий Овчинников. На встрече обсуждался вопрос о возможности взаимодействия МИД России с российскими протестантами в работе с соотечественниками за рубежом. Олег Васнецов отметил, что МИД России готов сотрудничать с представителями религиозных объединений России в работе с их единоверцами оказавшимися за пределами Российской Федерации, оказывать помощь религиозным организациям в решении проблем их единоверцев за рубежом. МИД России готов также к сотрудничеству с представителями протестантских церквей и по вопросам работы Организации по Безопасности и Сотрудничеству в Европе, а также других международных организаций в Европе. Представитель Церкви адвентистов седьмого дня, пастор Олег Гончаров предложил организовать визит посла Российской Федерации в США в офис Генеральной Конференции Церкви в Вашингтоне. Подобные встречи с послами различных стран мира в офисе Генеральной Конференции Церкви ХАСД регулярно организует руководитель отдела Общественных связей и религиозной свободы ГК Джон Грац. На этих встречах послы в США знакомятся с деятельностью Адвентистской церкви и обсуждают вопросы сотрудничества. Подобные встречи являются замечательной возможностью наладить добрые взаимоотношения с руководством разных стран мира. Олег Васнецов поддержал это предложение и выразил надежду на возможность подобной встречи в 2013 году.

[:en]The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a meeting of the leaders of evangelical churches of Russia with Oleg Vasnetsov, the Director of the Department of Relations with regions of the Federation, parliament and public associations of Russia. On the part of the Russian Foreign Ministry this event was also attended by Roman Romanov, director of department of Religious Organizations relations and Julia Galimova, Second Secretary of Russian Foreign Ministry. The Protestants were represented by Alexander Semchenko and Oleg Goncharov, members of the Council for Cooperation with Religious Organizations under the President of the Russian Federation, and by Ivan Borichevsky, Dmitry Blagoev, Vladimir Samoilov, Valery Ovchinnikov, pastors and leaders of the Evangelical Churches of Russia. The subject under discussion was the possibility of cooperation between Russian Foreign Ministry and the Russian Protestants in the work with compatriots abroad. Oleg Vasnetsov said that the Foreign Ministry of Russia is ready to cooperate with representatives of religious organizations of Russia in working with their co-religionists found themselves outside the Russian Federation, to provide assistance to religious organizations in solving the problems of their co-religionists abroad. Russian Foreign Ministry is also ready to cooperate with the representatives of Protestant churches in regard to the work of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and other international organizations in Europe. The representative of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Pastor Oleg Goncharov offered to arrange a visit of the Russian Ambassador to the United States in the office of the General Conference of the Church in Washington. Such meetings with the ambassadors of different countries in the office of the General Conference of the SDA Church regularly organizes John Graz, Director of Public Relations and Religious Liberty of GC. At these meetings, the ambassadors to U.S. have opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the Adventist church, and discuss cooperation. These meetings are a great opportunity to build good relationships with the leaders of various countries. Oleg Vasnetsov supported the proposal and expressed the hope for such a meeting in 2013.
