Адвентисты седьмого дня города Чугуева в субботний день 1 декабря 2012 года отметили свой двадцатилетний юбилей.
В торжественной программе были представлены все служители, которые своим служением и чертами характера запомнились прихожанам. Каждый из них делился воспоминаниями, связывающими его с общиной.
Звучали личные свидетельства и рассказы о том, что Бог сделал для Своего народа за день, неделю, месяц, год. Откликнувшись на призыв пастора Алексея Исакова, двое бывших членов общины вышли вперед и заявили о желании возобновить свой христианский путь. Не забыты были и жёны служителей, которые несли с ними бремя забот. Им сказали добрые слова и подарили цветы.
Торжество завершилось обильным угощением, и, как и полагается на дне рождения, были несколько тортов с двадцатью зажжёнными свечами.
On Sabbath day, in December the 1st 2012 Seventh-day Adventists church of Chuguev celebrated its twentieth anniversary.
At the solemn worship all the ministers were remembered by the church members for their service. Each of them shared memories, connected with their work in the congregation.
There were personal testimonies and the stories of what God has done for His people in a day, week, month, year. Responding to the appeal of pastor Alexey Isakov, two former members of the community stepped forward and expressed the desire to renew their Christian journey. The wives of the ministers who carried the burden of care with them also were not forgotten. They heard many good words and were given flowers.
The festive occasion ended with lavish entertainment and as it’s expected at a birthday party there were several cakes with twenty candles.
