В Черновицком областном театре кукол 20 декабря адвентисты седьмого дня провели акцию милосердия «От сердца к сердцу», собравшую около 150 детей, среди которых — инвалиды, сироты и дети из многодетных семей.
В этот день в большом зале театра маленьких посетителей с родителями и родственниками ожидали красиво украшенная сцена, теплые улыбки организаторов и подарки, собранные адвентистским отделом милосердия.
Детский хор «Фимиам» открыл концерт. Приветственные слова Аллы Гайсан, молитва пастора Михаила Бойко, пение солистов и коллективов, а также духовные размышления пастора Ивана Завадюка вселяли надежду на лучшую жизнь с Иисусом Христом.
По завершении концерта дети и родители, получившие подарки, искренне благодарили организаторов, на их лицах сияли улыбки. Радовались и дети адвентистов, которые передали собственноручно приготовленные подарки своим сверстникам «от сердца к сердцу».
К акции готовились в течение недели. В начале декабря в местных адвентистских общинах были розданы заготовки картонных коробок, которые дети, родители, а также соседи, знакомые и коллеги по работе заботливо наполняли канцелярскими товарами, сладостями, игрушками и другими подарками.
On December 20, in Chernivtsi Regional Puppet Theater, Seventh-day Adventists held a program called “From Heart to Heart”, which aimed at bringing together about 150 children. Among them were disabled children, orphaned children and children from large families.
On that day, in the great hall of the theater, the young visitors with their parents and relatives were pleasantly surprised with a beautifully decorated stage, warm smiles of the organizers and gifts collected by the Adventist Department of Welfare Ministry.
Children’s choir “Incense” opened the concert. Alla Gaisan offered the welcoming address, Pastor Michael Boyko provided the opening prayer. The musical portion of the program included the singing of soloists and musical groups. Pastor Ivan Zavadyuka spoke about having hope for a better life with Jesus Christ.
After the concert, children and parents who received gifts sincerely thanked the organizers, and smiles lit up their faces. Adventists children were also happy because they personally handed over gifts to their peers “from heart to heart.”
Preparation for the program took all the week. In early December, the local Adventist churches were given cardboard boxes to fill, and so the children with the help of their parents as well as their neighbors, acquaintances and colleagues carefully filled these boxes with stationery, sweets, toys and other gifts.
