Бог всегда стремился быть ближе к людям. Иисуса часто можно было встретить за столом с людьми – и это не случайно. Там Он достигал их сердец…
5 января в Ставрополе состоялась первая встреча христианского Арт-кафе «Атмосфера». Это место, где в уютной, дружественной обстановке могли встретиться члены церкви со своими друзьями – не адвентистами.
Современный человек любит вкусно поесть, пообщаться, высказать свою точку зрения и насладиться хорошей музыкой. Все эти потребности нашли свое удовлетворение на этой встрече.
Кроме того современные люди не любят никакого давления, а особенно религиозного, поэтому формат Арт-кафе – уникальная возможность донести любовь Христа людям.
Программа вечера состояла из трех частей. Первая: неформальное общение за столом с вкусными блюдами. Молодые парни и девушки, наши братья и сестры служили официантами для друзей, которые были приглашены на эту встречу.
Вторая часть: оживленная дискуссия на тему: «Рождество Христово: Он родился… и что дальше?» Тема оказалась актуальной, поскольку этот праздник почитаемый в нашей стране, а вот значение его, к сожалению, утрачивается за коммерческой составляющей. Вот и была такая возможность осмыслить, чем для человека является это великое событие в истории всего человечества.
Заключительная часть – музыкальный концерт группы KAOLANA, которая очень гармонично вписалась в Атмосферу всего вечера и порадовала своим творчеством.
В общей сложности на первом в Ставрополе христианском Арт-кафе «Атмосфера» побывало двадцать три не адвентиста и семнадцать членов церкви из двух общин.
Иисус ел с людьми, общался на понятном для них языке. Мы, команда «Атмосферы», стремимся делать тоже, что и наш Господь! За это Ему хочется воздать великую славу!

On January 5th, in Stavropol, the first meeting of the Christian Art Cafe, “Atmosphere,” took place. This is a place where members of the church can meet with their non-Adventists friends in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. Post-modern people like to eat, to talk, express their views and enjoy good music. All these needs can be found to their satisfaction at this place.
But besides that, modern people do not like any pressure, especially religious pressure, so the format of an art cafe is an unique opportunity to bring Christ’s love to such people. The evening consisted of three parts. First: informal meeting at the table with tasty dishes. Young boys and girls, our brothers and sisters, served as waiters for their friends who were invited to the event. The second part was a lively discussion on the topic, “Christmas: He was born … and then what?” Since this holiday is honored in our country, the theme was relevant, but the value of it, unfortunately, is lost in the commercial component. Everyone had an opportunity to comprehend the meaning of this great event in the history of mankind.
The final part was the music concert of the “KAOLANA” group, whose performance harmoniously fitted in with the atmosphere of the evening and many were pleased with this group’s creativity.
Generally speaking, the first Christian art cafe “Atmosphere” was visited by twenty-three non-Adventists, and seventeen members of the two local Adventist congregations.
Jesus ate with people, and talked to them in a language which they understood. As, the “Atmosphere” team, we strive to do the same as our Lord did! For that we want to glorify His name!
