По случаю традиционно отмечаемого 23 февраля праздника в честь мужчин во второй черниговской общине адвентистов седьмого дня по ул. 1-го Мая, 166-а прошло праздничное богослужение.
Песни и стихи своим папам и дедушкам посвятили Богдана и Глеб Анроники, Алена и Валерия Гринь, Антон и Даша Яковенко, Саша и Женя Бруй, Денис, Руслан и Илья Шнуренко. «Папа мой, и ничто в этом мире отнять его не сможет!» — пели они.
Особенно понравилась присутствующим поучительная сценка в исполнении Саши Бруя и пресвитера Станислава Гриня. В ней рассказывалось, как однажды сыну-подростку приснилось, что он воспитывает своего отца, указывая на его нерадивое отношение к своим обязанностям. «Дети, повинуйтесь своим родителям в Господе… И, вы отцы, не раздражайте детей ваших, но воспитывайте их в учении и наставлении Господнем» (Еф. 6:1–4) — зачитал в конце библейские стихи Саша.
Многих до слез тронул видеоролик, в котором престарелый отец довел до сильного возмущения взрослого сына, когда несколько раз переспросил «Что это такое», услыхав чириканье воробья. В ответ на это отец молча принес сыну старую тетрадку, где было записано, что когда его сын был маленьким, то он этот же вопрос задал отцу 21 раз. И после каждого вопроса отец терпеливо отвечал ему, обнимал и целовал его.
Жанна Яковенко и Светлана Кулинич посвятили песню и видеофильм своему папе, старшему дьякону церкви Якову Новгородскому, который привел к Богу почти все свое большое семейство.
«Когда детям однажды предложили описать своего папу, то оказалось, что в их глазах он самый сильный, смелый, и любимый. Мальчики бессознательно копируют своих отцов, а девочки видят в папе образец своего будущего мужа. Поэтому растущая девочка так нуждается в положительной отцовской оценке. Вестница Божья Эллен Уайт пишет, что дети в своем отце видят также отражение Бога. На отцах лежит огромная ответственность за будущее своих детей», — сказал в заключение пастор Александр Шнуренко.

The songs and verses devoted to their fathers and grandfathers were presented by Bogdana and Gleb Anronik, Alena and Valeriya Grinj, Anton and Dasha Yakovenko, Sasha and Zhenya Bruy, Denis, Iliya and Ruslan Shurenko. “Papa is mine and nothing in the world can take him from me” – they were singing.
The attendants liked the scene played by Sasha Bruy and the presbyter Stanislav Grinj. It told about dream of the teenager son as he lectured his father because of his careless treatment of his duties. “Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right… And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” (Eph. 6:1-4) – read Sasha at the end.
The movie about an adult son and his old father moved to tears many participants. The son was annoyed at father’s question “What is it?” when he heard twittering of the sparrow. He asked him for the fourth time. Then the father showed his son notebook, when he wrote down how many times his son asked that question when he was little. It was 21. And after every question his father answered, hugged and kissed his little son.
Zhanna Yakovenko and Svetlana Kulinich devoted the film and the song to their father Yakov Novgorodskiy who was the elder deacon. He brought almost all his big family to God.
“When children were asked sometime to describe their father, it appeared that he was sort of the strongest, bravest and beloved. Boys copy their fathers unconsciously, and girls see the example of their future husband in them. Therefor the growing child heeds to have a positive appraisal of their fathers. The messenger of the Lord Ellen White writes that children see the reflection of God in their fathers. The great responsibility for the future of their children rests with the fathers” – said the pastor Alexandr Shnurenko in conclusion.
