Участники встречи – руководители отделов детского служения, приехавшие со всех общин Северо-Западной конференции, чье служение посвящено самым маленьким и юным – будущему Церкви.
Служение хоть и называется детским, но сил требует не меньше, чем любое взрослое. Ведь нынешние дети в недалеком будущем активные члены церкви, служители или те, кто может, не справившись с проблемами и искушениями, уйти в мир. Поэтому рассматриваемые вопросы совсем недетского характера.
Участники встречи смогли побывать на уроках в различных возрастных классах детской субботней школы, где наверняка, подметили для себя много полезных и интересных идей.
Большим благословением была и духовная часть встречи – проповеди Аркадия Балкана и Ивана Вельгоши.
Во время семинаров руководители отделов и учителя получили немало идей, методов, приемов. Воодушевленные, наставленные, умудренные участники консультативной встречи готовы возвратиться в свои общины к детям и подросткам, для которых они ключ к пониманию того, Кто Такой Бог и как сильно Он любит каждого ребенка и взрослого.
Saturday. In the building of the temple situated on Mores Tereza prospect a consultative meeting for the leaders of the sunniest department (that is children’s) was opened.
The participants of the meeting are the heads of Children’s ministry department, who came from all churches of the North-Western Conference (NWC). Their ministry is dedicated to the smallest and the youngest – to the future of the Church.
However this ministry is called children’s ministry, but it requires forces not less than any adult one. After all, in the near future today’s children would be active church members, even ministers, or those, who will not cope with the challenges and temptations and will leave the church having loved this world. Therefore, the issues addressed have unchildish character.
The participants had opportunity to attend different age classes of children’s Sabbath School, where they noticed a lot of useful and interesting ideas.
A great blessing to all was a spiritual part of the meeting – the preaching of Arcadiy Balkan and Ivan Velgosha.
During the workshops, department leaders and teachers got a lot of ideas, methods, and techniques. Being inspired and learned, participants of consultative meeting were willing to return to their churches to their children and teenagers for whom they are the key to an understanding of who God is and how much He loves each child and adult.
