Испокон веков звездное небо привлекает к себе пристальное внимание людей. Многие пытались понять, что такое звезды, где край вселенной и кто за этим всем стоит. Наши современники не исключение. Ответ на многие из этих вопросов уже нашел астроном-любитель Джеймс Бурр.
Полные залы желающих услышать, как «небеса проповедуют славу Божью» собирались практически на всех встречах с исследователем, которые прошли в Ставрополе, Пятигорске, Владикавказе и Нальчике.
Американский гость оказался прекрасным оратором. Было видно, что он хорошо разбирается в планетах, звездах и их связи с Господом.
Фотографии разных галактик поражали великолепием и радугой красок. Они свидетельствовали, что Великий Бог сотворил галактики, планеты и Солнце разными по величине, цвету и форме. Некоторые галактики напоминали животных и насекомых: муравья, бабочку, лошадь и т.п.
Поразительными казались картины огромного количества движущихся и не сталкивающихся между собой звезд. Даже материалисты-ученые говорят, что такое мог создать только Бог. И в сердцах зрителей с каждым новым слайдом крепла уверенность в то, что это не могло появиться само собой. Только всесильный Творец, бесконечный в своей мудрости мог создать подобное великолепие.
После просмотра таких фотографий, подтверждающих Божье могущество и любовь, хотелось быть там, в небесах с Господом.
В завершении встреч Джеймс Бурр поделился со слушателями мыслями о том, что приготовил Бог для своих детей на небесах: «Мы можем только отдаленно представлять приготовленное Богом. Но это точно величественнее и больше, чем наше, пусть даже самое богатое воображение, может представить. Красота неба непостижима, как непостижим для нас Господь, но если мы любим Его, если верим, то нам нужно сделать хотя бы один шаг к нему навстречу. Отец ждет нас всегда как блудного сына».

Full houses of people wanting to hear how “the heavens declare the glory of God” were present on almost all the meetings with the researcher. They took place in Stavropol, Pyatigorsk, Vladikavkaz and Nalchik.

Photos of different galaxies struck with their splendor and a rainbow of colors. They testified that Almighty God created galaxies, planets and the Sun different in size, color and shape. Some galaxies resemble animals and insects: ants, butterflies, horses, etc.
Pictures of the huge number of moving and not colliding with each other stars seemed startling. Even the materialistic scientists say that only God could create them. And confidence in the fact that it could not have come by itself strengthened in the hearts of the audience with each new slide. Only the Almighty Creator, in His infinite wisdom could create such splendor.
After viewing these pictures, confirming God’s power and love, everyone wanted to be there in heaven with the Lord.
At the end of the meetings, James Burr shared with the audience his thoughts about what God has prepared for his children in heaven: “We can only vaguely imagine what God has prepared for us. But it certainly grander and bigger than our even the most vivid imagination can imagine. The beauty of heaven is incomprehensible, like our Lord is incomprehensible to us, but if we love Him, if we believe that we need to make at least one step toward Him, our Father awaits us always as the prodigal son.”
