Ребята читали торжественные стихи и песни о своей любимой школе, ученики младших классов вручили подарки старшеклассникам. Много теплых слов было сказано в адрес преподавателей, ученики преподнесли им цветы.
Гимназисты и преподаватели почтили минутой молчания память Марьи Васильевны Гришуткиной – основательницы Российской Христианской Гимназии, талантливого педагога. Она бы порадовалась тому, как продолжает дело ее жизни сын Олег и коллектив преподавателей: ведется благоустройство территории гимназии, строится современная спортивная площадка, открыт новый спортзал, отремонтированы санузлы, к сентябрю будет запущена в эксплуатацию новая просторная кухня и столовая. Это важно — ведь с сентября количество учащихся увеличится до 110 человек!
Коллектив гимназии преодолевает многие проблемы, уповая на Бога. Педагоги убеждены, что успех гимназии приносит их твердое стремление следовать наставлению мудрого Соломона: «Наставь юношу при начале пути его: он не уклонится от него, когда и состарится» (Пр.22:6).

The graduates wept openly. It was sad to say goodbye to their childhood and to part with their favorite teachers who has become for them like loved ones over the years of study.
Students read the solemn poems and songs about their beloved school, and the children of junior school presented gifts to high school students. Many warm words were said to the teachers, and the students presented them with flowers.
High-school students and teachers observed a minute’s silence in memory of Marya V. Grishutkina – the founder of the Russian Christian Gymnasium and talented teacher. She would be glad seeing as her son Oleg and the team of teachers continue the work of her life: landscaping the school, building a modern sports ground. They have also opened a new gym, refurbished bathrooms, and in September going to put into operation a new spacious kitchen and dining area. This is very important, because in September the number of students will be increased to 110 people!
Oleg Grishutkin, the principal, congratulating the graduates with the end of the school, said: “The task of Christian education is to have a good influence on the formation of the personality of students. Most importantly is what kind of person our students would become and what laws they would follow in their lives. What choice would they make? Are they going to live according to the laws of modern society? Or decide to follow the laws of Jesus Christ, the law of love for another person?” The principal was supported by the pastor Vitaly Shevchenko. According to him, the most outstanding academic achievements, can not bring happiness to man if he has a bad character. But the one who puts the love to people and serving them as the top priority of his life, will surely be a great public demand and will always be able to enjoy life. As a farewell to all school students and graduates the pastor read Psalm 91 – “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High.” Then all the congregation said in unison a prayer “Our Father.”
Christian High School has long been a center of Christian influence in Tula. In its facilities citywide festivals and conferences are held. Also teachers conduct classes on the program of improvement of teachers, and share their experiences with colleagues from other schools. In today’s world, people are less interested in religion, but a quality education in a Christian school is still valued highly. The high school has a good reputation, so parents tend to send their children here to study. More than half of the students are not from Adventist families, so learning at school becomes a form of evangelization. Together with the first Tula church, the Adventist High School hosts a variety of educational, social and evangelistic programs, which are visited by parents and friends of students.
Trusting in God, the school team overcomes many of the problems. Teachers believe that the success of school depends upon their strong desire to follow the counsel of the wise Solomon: “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6).
