Глухие и слабослышащие из Украины, России и Беларуси — 84 человека с 1 по 11 июля оздоровились на базе отдыха «Маяк» в поселке Железный Порт Херсонской области. Программа лагеря, организованного Церковью адвентистов седьмого дня, включала в себя спортивные игры, лекции о здоровье и семье, экскурсии, богослужения, сценки и песни на языке жестов.
В день заезда всех приветливо встретила и расселила по комнатам администратор Оксана Мишанина. Каждый день начинался с молитвы лидеров и разминки на море, которую проводила Елена Адаменко. Утренние богослужения в спорткомплексе с духовным наставником Олегом Шумчуком открывали присутствующим удивительный мир Библии.
Ежедневный план координатора программы Дмитрия Пшеничного предусматривал различные спортивные и другие командные игры на море и на территории базы. Особое внимание Дмитрий уделял молодёжи. Перед обедом Ирина Ермаченко проводила познавательные лекции о здоровье, а Людмила Котляр — о семье. Интересной и насыщенной была и вечерняя программа.
Ежедневно отдыхающие готовили песни, сценки, выступления (художественный руководитель — Елена Адаменко), участвовали в игре «Тайный друг» (Д. Пшеничный). Во время мероприятий, на которых были заняты родители, с детьми занимались И. Ермаченко, Л. Котляр, О. Мишанина. В конце дня желающим показывали художественные фильмы. Также для отдыхающих организовали поездки на гейзер.
В субботу участники лагеря оставались в покое по библейской заповеди, вдохновляясь проповедями на утреннем и вечернем богослужениях (О. Шумчук, Д. Пшеничный, О. Степанов). Вечером желающие делились своими духовными опытами. Аудитория внимательно слушала «живые истории» — настолько интересные, что поступила просьба в последующие вечера продолжить эти рассказы.
В последний день заезда отдыхающие выразили благодарность и признательность организаторам этой программы, а также директору базы Галине Ивановне. Руководитель лагеря Фёдор Гончаренко поблагодарил сотрудников команды, а также оператора Василия Хрищенюка и фотографа Олега Котляра.
Несмотря на дождливую погоду в первые несколько дней, люди оздоровились, загорели и насладились свежестью морского воздуха. Все остались довольны отдыхом, увезя домой самые лучшие воспоминания и хорошее настроение.
From 1 to 11 July, 84 deaf and the hard-of-hearing people from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus improved their health at the camp site “Mayak” in the village of Zhelezny Port, Kherson region. The camp program, organized by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, included sports, lectures on health and family, sightseeing, divine worship, as well as sketches and songs in sign language.
Upon arrival, all were warmly welcomed and settled by manager Oksana Mishanina. Each day began with a prayer of leaders and limbering-up in sea, which was carried by Elena Adamenko. Morning worships at the sports complex with Oleg Shumchuk as a preacher, helped those present to discover the wonderful world of the Bible.
Daily plan of program coordinator, Dmitry Pshenichny, provided a variety of sports and other team games on the sea and on the camp site territory. Dmitry paid special attention to the youth. Before lunch, Irina Ermachenko conducted educational lectures about health and Lyudmila Kotlyar about family relations. Interesting and full of content were evening programs.
Every day, campers were preparing songs, sketches, and performances (artistic director – Elena Adamenko). They also participated in the game “Secret Friend” (D. Pshenichny). During the events with participation of parents, I. Ermachenko, L. Kotlyar, and O. Mishanina worked with children. At the end of the day persons interested were shown films. Also trips to a geyser were organized for vacationers.
On Saturday, the campers rested according to the Bible commandment, being inspired by the preaching at the morning and evening worship services (O. Shumchuk, D. Pshenichny, A. Stepanov). In the evening, one who wished could share his/her spiritual experiences. The audience listened attentively to the “living stories” – so interesting that there was a request for the next evening to continue these stories.
On the final day, campers expressed gratitude to the organizers of the program, as well as to director of the camp site, Galina Ivanovna. The head of the camp, Fedor Goncharenko, thanked the team as well as the cameraman, Vasiliy Hrischenyuk and photographer, Oleg Kotlyar.
Despite the rainy weather in the first few days, people have improved their health, tanned and enjoyed the fresh sea air. All were pleased with the recreation, taking home the best memories and good cheer.
