Молодежь десяти адвентистских общин г. Черновцов в субботу 5 октября поздравила черновчан с Днем города и подарила им духовную литературу. В праздничных конвертах, с которыми адвентисты вышли на улицы своего района, были книги «Великая борьба» и «Путь ко Христу», а также газеты «Вічний Скарб», закладки с десятью заповедями и адресами церквей.
По словам волонтеров, реакция жителей города, отмечавшего 605-летие, была различной: одни принимали подарки с радостью и улыбкой на лице, другие — с удивлением, некоторые отказывались, а были и такие, кто сам проявлял инициативу, чтобы получить конверт.
После акции все ее участники встретились в адвентистской общине по ул. Турецкой, 10. Около 150 молодых людей делились впечатлениями и опытами, а также обсуждали тему призыва к каждому христианину свидетельствовать людям о Христе.

On Saturday, October 5, Adventist Youth of ten congregations of Chernivtsi, congratulated its residents with City Day and gave them spiritual literature. In the festive envelopes, which Adventists took to the streets of their city districts, were books ” The Great Controversy” and “Steps to Christ”, the newspaper ” Vіchny Scarb” (The Eternal Treasure), bookmarks with the Ten Commandments and addresses of the churches.
According to the volunteers, the reaction of the residents of the city, marking its 605th anniversary, was different: some accepted gifts with joy and smiles on their faces, the other with surprise, still others refused and also there were those who themselves took the initiative to get the envelope.
After the event, all the participants met at the Seventh-day Adventist house of worship on Turetskaya street. About 150 young people shared their impressions and experiences, as well as discussed the duty of every Christian to witness people about Christ.
