Необыкновенное путешествие для взрослых и ребят состоялось утром – 8 января 2014 г., а отправились они прокладывать путь в «Центр охраны прав детства», что на левом берегу Северной Двины в г. Архангельске. В Центре находятся дети, которые по различным причинам, были изъяты из неблагополучных семей.
Перед встречей нам, организаторам, была дана небольшая общая информация о том, что ожидается от нас и какие детки будут. «Сюрпризов» на месте, уже в Центре было много. Слава нашему Господу, что и ребята, и взрослые быстро смогли скорректировать свою программу. Игры, песенки, хороводы, театр теней, – с какой любовью все это было сделано, а какие замечательные слушатели были в этом зале – детки от 3 до 7 лет! Они помогали во всем, дружно отгадывали загадки, повторяли движения, пели песенки. Вместе с воспитателями ребята для нас спели песенку про Рождество. Было очень приятно! В конце программы, ребят ждали подарочки. Жаль было расставаться, но мы надеемся встретиться вновь! Ведь путешествие наше только начинается…

An unusual journey took place on the morning of January 8, 2014. Adults and children from Archangelsk Adventist church went to the Child Protection Center located on the left bank of the Severnaya Dvina River. The Center accommodates children that for various reasons have been removed from their troubled families.
Before the program leaders of the church group were instructed on what was expected of them and what kind of children they would meet. There were many “surprises” at the Center, but Adventist adults and children were able to make necessary changes in the program. Games, action songs, a shadow theater were all lovingly presented by the Adventist group and lovingly received by a cute audience of 3 to 7 year olds. In spite of their age and their situation children gladly guessed riddles, repeated actions and sang songs.
Staff and children of the Child Protection Center sang a Christmas song for their Adventist friends. It was very nice of them! At the end of the program Adventists presented them with small gifts. It was sad to part, but Archangelsk Adventists hope to come again. The journey has just started.
