Группа литературных евангелистов под руководством Игоря Худова 15 марта совершила миссионерский выезд в город Шилово Рязанской области. Из Рязани, Тулы и Тульской области собралось 13 активных книгонош, чтобы обменяться опытом, вдохновить и поддержка местных адвентистов, желающих присоединиться к этому служению.
В субботу гости провели в Шиловской общине богослужение. После вкусного обеда, приготовленного гостеприимными хозяевами, и общения с друзьями отправились в город проводить опрос читателей газет «Сокрытое сокровище» и «Ключи к здоровью». Многие люди благодарили за газету, потому что «узнали из нее много нового и интересного». Около половины опрошенных пожелали получать её и дальше, несколько читателей пожелали изучать библейские уроки. Такие результаты миссионеров очень вдохновили.
Верующие старались убедить читателей во всех жизненных ситуациях обращаться к любящему Господу, Который всегда готов нам помочь. Люди, которые доверили книгоношам свою боль, были благодарны, когда им предлагали вместе помолиться за их проблемы, в их глазах появлялась надежда.
В воскресенье 16 марта был еще один миссионерский выход в близлежащие селения с газетами и книгами. И вновь незабываемые встречи, беседы, молитвы. У каждого, с кем книгоноши общались, оставалось на память печатное Слово.
В конце встречи обменивались удивительными опытами, лица миссионеров светились радостью. Каждый нашел для себя какие-то новые методы работы по спасению душ. Гостей вознаградили экскурсией по Рязани, они познакомились с историей и архитектурой Рязани, посетили краеведческий музей, старинную усадьбу мецената барона фон Дервиза в селе Кирицы и запланировали новые встречи миссионеров Рязани, Шилово и Сасово.

Igor Khudov led a group of literature evangelists to the town of Shilovo in Ryazan Region on March 15th. Thirteen working colporteurs from Ryazan, Tula and Tula Region gathered together to share experiences and to encourage and inspire local church members wishing to join the ministry.
Visiting literature evangelists took charge of the Sabbath worship at Shilovo SDA Church. In the afternoon, after a special dinner prepared by the caring hosts and a fellowship with friends, visiting colporteurs went into town to conduct a survey among readers of “Hidden Treasure” and “Keys to Health” newspapers. Many residents thanked them for the newspapers because they “learned many interesting and useful things.” Half of the surveyed people wanted to continue receiving the papers, several signed up for a bible course. Missionaries were inspired by the response from the public.
When talking to people Adventists encourage them to go to the Lord in any situation. The Lord, they said, was always willing to listen and to help. Residents who shared their concerns with the literature evangelists appreciated their prayers and gained hope.
There was another LE mission to the nearby villages on Sunday March 16th. Unforgettable meetings, conversations and prayers were part of the day. Every person who came in contact with Adventists went home with some printed materials.
At the end of the day literature evangelists exchanged testimonies. Their faces were glowing with joy. Each one of them discovered a new way to bring souls to Jesus. Local members rewarded their guests with a tour of Ryazan. History and architecture sites were part of the sightseeing. Missionaries visited local history museum and the antique estate of Baron Fon Dervis, a well known local benefactor, in the village of Kiritsy.
Future literature evangelists meetings were planned in Ryazan, Shilovo and Sasovo.
