Дом молитвы адвентистов седьмого дня в г. Сторожинце 10 мая едва вместил всех желающих побывать на программе «Отцы и дети», направленной на утверждение семейных ценностей.
Открыл мероприятие инструментальный оркестр под руководством Валентины Мельничук. Мастерски исполненные произведения свидетельствовали о безграничной любви Творца к каждому из нас, а также о благодарности Ему и большом уважении к нашим земным отцам и матерям.
Собравшиеся узнали много интересного от ведущих — пастора Степана Гайсана и его жены Аллы о ценности времени в воспитании детей. С теплыми словами приветствия и пожеланием, чтобы эта встреча была не последней, к аудитории обратился пастор Александр Глушкивский. Духовные размышления президента Буковинской конференции Павла Кирилюка заставили присутствующих посмотреть на свою жизнь с другой стороны, поэтому многие украдкой вытирали слезы. Восхищение аудитории вызвало выступление детей общины, которые в стихотворной форме рассказывали о семьях. Бабушки с дедушками услышали много нового и интересного о себе. Надолго запомнится стихотворение, которое рассказал шестилетний Степан Кусяк о своей семье, поскольку в конце он громко пояснил: «Дедушка, это я тебе рассказал это стихотворение».
Всем присутствующим в зале женщинам вручили розы, а приглашенным — еще и праздничные конверты с духовной литературой, газетой «Вечное сокровище» по случаю Дня матери. С большой радостью откликнулись дети на призыв Павла Ивановича выйти вперед для совершения молитвы благословения.
Для молодых семей и их детей праздник продолжился на следующий день. Они вместе, взяв праздничные конверты и цветы, пошли в город, чтобы поздравить женщин с праздником матери. Все получившие такой неожиданный подарок были искренне удивлены и от волнения не сразу находили слова благодарности.
Организаторы уверены, что такие программы полезны тем, что сплачивают членов общины в посте и молитве. А у людей верующие стремятся вызвать желание исследовать Библию, искать личных тесных отношений с Господом здесь на земле, чтобы когда-нибудь быть с Ним в вечности.

A chapel of Seventh-day Adventist Church in Storozhynets could hardly accommodate all wishing to attend a program “Fathers and children” on May 10.
The event was opened with an instrumental band playing led by Valentina Melnychuk. Masterfully performed musical pieces showed boundless love of the Creator to each of us, as well as thanks to Him and great respect for our earthly fathers and mothers.
The participants learned a lot from the presenters pastor Stepan Gaisan and his wife Alla, they learned about the value of time in the upbringing children. Pastor Alexander Glushkivskyaddressed the audience with warm greetings and wishes that this meeting would not be the last one. Spiritual reflections of Bukovinskaya Conference President Pavel Kiriliuk forced the listeners to look at their life from another perspective, so many people were furtively wiping tears. The audience was delighted to watch children’s performance, they read poems about families. Grandparents had heard a lot of new and interesting things about themselves. A six-year old Stepan Kuziak cited a poem about his family and at the end he said loudly, “Grandpa, this poem is about you”.
All women received roses, guests got envelopes with spiritual literature and “The EternalTreasure” newspaper on the occasion of Mother’s Day. With great joy the children responded to the call of Pavel Kiriliuk to come forward for a prayer of blessing.
The celebration for young families and their children continued the next day. Together they took holiday envelopes and flowers, went to the city to congratulate women on the occasion of the Mother’s Day. All those who received a gift were genuinely surprised and because of excitementcould not immediately find words of thanks.
The organizers are confident that such programs are useful since they unite members of thecongregation in prayer and fasting. And believers want people to have a desire to study the Bible, to seek close personal relationships with the Lord here on the Earth to be with Him in theeternity.
