На территории Церкви христиан адвентистов седьмого дня по ул. Васнецова 32, состоялся благотворительный фестиваль «Мы нужны друг другу» для детей-инвалидов и молодых инвалидов Заводского района г. Минска, посвященный Дню защиты детей.
Невзирая на пасмурную погоду с кратковременным дождем праздник прошел в радостной атмосфере, потому что солнце сияло в сердцах детей и взрослых, пришедших на этот фестиваль. Все его участники провели время не только интересно, но и полезно.
С самого раннего утра организаторы фестиваля готовились и занимали каждый отведенное ему место на территории церкви. В 11.00 на ступеньках центрального входа состоялось торжественное открытие фестиваля, на котором с приветственным словом выступили организаторы и спонсоры. После этого прославили Бога хористы молодежного хорового коллектива «Vivere», а следующими играли на электрооргане талантливые девочки из Музыкальной школы для слабовидящих детей № 19. Они так от души и старательно исполняли произведение, что хотелось сказать всем детям, не обделенным зрением, о том, что вот с таких ребят нужно брать пример настойчивости и трудолюбия. Выделялся среди них один незрячий мальчик, который случайно наткнувшись на скрипку, лежащую на лавочках музыкантов, ощупывал своими маленькими пальчиками ее струны, в этот момент на лице был восторг и любопытство, – вот ради таких детей стоит проводить подобные праздники.
На фестивале были развлечения как для детей, так и для взрослых. Еще до начала концерта мальчики и девочки с большим удовольствием пускали мыльные пузыри, у кого-то получалось сразу, у кого-то нет, но все этому радовались. А потом пришел трехметровый белый медведь, он раскачивался из стороны в сторону и, казалось, что вот-вот упадет под напором детского любопытства и желанием деток погладить его пушистый мех, но медведь оказался стойким и еще долго радовал деток своим присутствием.
Среди палаток можно было увидеть парня в форме пограничника, прогуливающегося с немецкой овчаркой, так мило и дружелюбно поглядывавшим на всех собравшихся. Оказалось, что это специально тренированная собака, показавшая на концерте все, что она умеет. Больше всего детей позабавила команда: «умереть», при которой пес падал на бок как мертвый.
За территорией церкви на большой поляне у водоканала было также очень людно, там стояла очередь желающих детей и взрослых прокатиться на красивой большой лошади, которую хозяин вел под узды.
Было развлечение и для желающих, окунув руки в краски, нарисовать своими пальцами любой рисунок – вроде «грязное дело», но такое приятное.
Среди палаток была организована выставка работ, сделанных руками инвалидов – детей и молодых людей под названием «Страна чудес». На ней можно было убедиться в том, как талантливы и старательны детки порой не имеющие тех возможностей, которые имеют их сверстники.
Помогли провести этот праздник представители минского зоопарка. Нельзя было не обратить внимание на палатку, в которой был один очень дружелюбный хорек, тянущийся к рукам всех подходящих к нему, а еще добрая маленькая черепаха, мышки, морские свинки и даже большущие тараканы.
Для взрослых были свои развлечения: они посетили выставку здоровья, которая, кстати, была и детской, взрослые задавали свои вопросы, а дети – свои. Кроме того взрослые могли побывать в мастерской Мэри-Кей, где им показывали как ухаживать за своим лицом, чтобы быть всегда красивыми.
Среди всех собравшихся ярко выделялся клоун из группы «Венди-хаус», который проводил конкурсы со скакалочкой, мячами и многим другим, рядом с ним детки прыгали, веселились и получали подарки.
Ну, какой детский праздник без большой надувной горки, на которой самые маленькие с радостью проводили время.
Во время проведения фестиваля был организован сбор средств, а также благотворительная ярмарка распродажа поделок детей-инвалидов и молодых инвалидов, рисунки, открытки, сувениры. Собранные средства с распродажи и всего фестиваля будут переданы для оздоровления и летнего отдыха детей и молодых инвалидов.
Ароматом вкусных блинов пахло с блинного двора, где всех бесплатно угощали не только блинами, но и различной выпечкой, фруктами, чаем. А рядом разместилась дегустационная палатка вегетарианской кухни, где также можно было попробовать паштеты, пиццу и многое другое.
Выступали детские и музыкальные коллективы разных церквей, а также ЗРО «Белорусская ассоциация многодетных родителей» г. Минска, ПО «БелАПДИиМИ» г. Чаусы, УО ПТС ПТУ № 1 и многие другие.
В саму атмосферу фестиваля немалую роль привнес Александр – очень добродушный и внимательный ко всем участникам ведущий.
Все активные участники получали в подарок различные игрушки, даже те, кто внимательно слушал. Приятно было видеть, что дождь не был помехой для пришедших на праздник. В конце фестиваля всем организаторам были вручены дипломы и высказаны слова благодарности.
Особые слова благодарности хотелось бы выразить нашему великому Богу, благословившему этот праздник, поскольку слегка моросящий дождик после завершения фестиваля превратился в сильный ливень, не прекращающиеся до глубокой ночи, если бы такой дождик начался на празднике – все было бы испорчено.
Хочется также выразить слова благодарности Кацалу Андрею Викторовичу и Бучневу Вячеславу Вячеславовичу, организовавшим этот праздник, совместно с социальными организациями района и при активном участии членов церкви на Васнецова.

Charity festival “We need each other” took place on the premises of the Seventh-day Adventist Church located on Vasnetsova street, 32. It was organized for disabled children and young people with disabilities living in Zavodskoy district of Minsk. The festival took place on the International Children’s Day.
Despite the weather forecast for intermittent rain the festival was held in a joyful atmosphere, because the sun was shining in the hearts of children and adults who came to this festival. All participants had a great time, not only interesting but useful too.
From early morning the festival organizers were getting ready and were working in their designated places. The grand opening was at 11:00 am on the steps of the main entrance. Organizers and sponsors welcomed our guests. “Vivere” youth choir glorified God and afterwards talented girls from the Music school # 19 for visually impaired children played the electric organ. They were playing so sincerely and diligently that everyone had a desire to tell children who do not have visual problems to take an example of their perseverance and hard work. Among them was one blind boy who accidentally stumbled on a violin lying on benches and he fingered its strings and one could see a delight and curiosity on his face – for the sake of these children we should conduct such holidays.
Both children and adults could find attractions at the festival. Before the concert boys and girls were blowing bubbles with great pleasure, some were able to do it from the first attempt, some could not, but everyone was happy. And then came the three-meter high polar bear, it swayed from side to side, and it looked like it was about to fall under the pressure of the children’s curiosity and desire to pet it’s fluffy fur, but the bear was quite strong and kids enjoyed its presence for a long time.
Between the tents one could see a young man in a border control troop’s uniform. He was walking with a friendly German Shepherd dog. It turned out that this dog has undergone a special training and it demonstrated all its skills at the concert. More than anything else kids liked when the dog played dead.
A lot of people were spending time outside the church in a large meadow near the creek, they were waiting to ride on a beautiful big horse, which the owner kept under reins.
Others could paint with their fingers, it’s a kind of “dirty work”, but it is a pleasant one.
“Wonderland” exhibition of crafts made by disable children and youth was established in between tents. There one could see how talented and hard-working are the children that do not have opportunities provided for their healthy peers.
Representatives of Minsk Zoo helped to organize this celebration. Everyone turned his attention to a tent where was a friendly ferret, a kind turtle, some mice, guinea pigs and even huge cockroaches.
Adults could find things interesting for them: they attended the Health Expo, which was actually organized for kids too. Adults and children received answers to their questions. Besides adults could visit Mary Kay workshop where they were demonstrated facial care.
Among all the participants stood out a clown from the “Wendy’s House” clown group. He held competitions with a jumping-rope, balls and many other things. Children were jumping, having fun and got presents.
What children’s party could be without a large inflatable slides! The smallest kids enjoyed them!
A fundraising and a charity fair for selling handicrafts of disabled children and young people with disabilities, drawings, postcards and souvenirs were organized during the event. The funds collected from the sale and at the festival at large will be given to recovery and summer camps for children and young people with disabilities.
At the Pancake Place everyone could have free pancakes and different pastries, fruit and tea. Next to it was a tasting tent of vegetarian cuisine, where guests could try pies, pizzas and much more.
Children and musical groups of different churches as well as representatives of “Belarusian Association of parents of many children” in Minsk” and Public Association “Belarus Association of Assisting Disabled Children and Young People” of Chausy town, Vocational college # 1 and many others performed at the concert.
Alexander, a kind and attentive presenter of the program has played a huge role in the atmosphere of the festival.
All active participants received gifts: various toys, the gifts were given even for those who just listened attentively. It was nice to see that the rain was not a hindrance for those who came for the holiday. At the end of the festival all the organizers received certificates and heard words of gratitude.
We want to give special thanks to our great God who blessed this holiday because as a little drizzle has turned into a heavy downpour after the festival and it did not stop till late at night and if this rain has started at the time of the festival, it would have spoiled everything.
We would like to express our gratitude to pastors Andrey Katsal and Vyacheslav Buchnev who organized this celebration together with Social Services of the local district and active participation of church members.
